Joe will be serving as a co-captain for the Dartmouth Men’s Swimming and Diving Team for the 2007-08 season.
2006-07: Recognized as the Dartmouth Men’s Swimming and Diving’s Most Improved Athlete ... placed 17th in the 1,650 Free (15:58.26) 21st in the 1,000 Free (9:38.12) at the EISL Championships ... his 1,650 Free time was good for 2nd all-time at Dartmouth and his 1,000 Free time was good for 8th all-time.
Before Dartmouth: Attended Seton Hall Preparatory School ... co-captain and an NJSIAA/ETS Scholar Athlete his senior year ... his sophomore year, he began swimming for the Berkeley Aquatic Club (BAC) under Coach Jim Wood ... named a U.S. Swimming Scholastic All-American and had the opportunity to train at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. He is an Economics Modified major at Dartmouth. When not in the pool, he is co-owner of Vox Sportswear, a research assistant for the Sociology Department, and a member of Psi Upsilon
Fraternity. In the fall of 2006, Joe studied abroad at Queen Mary
University in London and trained with the Otter Swim Club. Personal: Joe is an Economics Modified major at Dartmouth, as well as social chair for the Psi Upsilon Fraternity.
