Cipicchio comes to Dartmouth from the University of Pennsylvania where she spent the 2018 season as an assistant coach, working primarily as the hitting coach. During her tenure with the Quakers, Cipicchio helped Penn to the 39th best batting average in the nation (.297) which was the program’s highest mark since 2004 and the 32nd most stolen bases per game (1.54).
Prior to her year at Penn, Cipicchio served as the head coach at Hamilton College in New York for four seasons. Her program set 14 team and individual records, including conference wins and tying the most wins in the school history. Before that, she was an assistant coach at Williams College in 2013 and Smith College in 2012.
A four-year starter at second base and shortstop for Trinity College from 2007-10, Cipicchio was also a team captain and made the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team her senior year. She started all but one game during her Trinity career and ended her career with 97 hits including 10 home runs.
