Alyssa Fisher joined the Dartmouth women's basketball program as an assistant coach in May 2024.
Fisher joins the Big Green after spending the past season playing at Loyola Chicago in the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10). At Loyola, she started all 31 games for the Ramblers and led the team in 3-pointers made (49), free throws made (110), steals (49) and points per game (13.5). Fisher ranked 11th in the A-10 in steals per game (1.5) and points per game (13.5).
Fisher had a stellar four-year career at St. Francis Brooklyn, where she led the Terriers for two seasons as team captain. A four-year starter, she averaged 10.7 points throughout her career, including a team best 16.1 points per a game as a senior. She logged 22 double-digit performances and was a nine-time Northeast Conference Player of the Week. In 2021, she was a key part of the Terriers’ first ever win over a Power Five program, helping defeat Big Ten opponent Michigan State. In that same season, she was named MVP of the Battle of Brooklyn. Fisher was named the conference’s Most Improved Player as a senior, in addition to a First Team All-NEC honor and a Scholar Athlete of the Year award.
Off the court, Fisher participated in the prestigious Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s “So You Want To Be A Coach” program at the 2024 Final Four in Cleveland. She was a strength and conditioning coach intern at St. Francis Brooklyn in 2022-2023 and took part in many community service events, including the Tunnel to Towers 5K in New York.
A Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, Fisher earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2022 as well as a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management in 2023, both from St. Francis Brooklyn. She then earned her MBA from Loyola Chicago in 2024.
