Sophomore (2025-26): Played in 15 games between the pipes for the Big Green, finishing the season with a .903 save percentage and a 3.03 goals against average… Made 30 or more saves in eight of her 15 appearances… Made 33 saves in a shutout win over No. 9 Clarkson for her first win of the season… Stopped 35 shots in the regular season finale win over RPI… Posted a season high 38 saves in the first game of the season at Holy Cross.
First-Year (2024-25): Played in one game, the Big Green's 9-1 win over St. Anselm... Made 15 saves on 16 shots.
Before Dartmouth: Is a four year letter winner at the Hill Murray School, earning their 2024 Female Athlete of the Year award as well as their Jori Jones Award for Senior Goalie of the Year... Named to the Star Tribune All-State First Team and the MSHSL Girls Hockey State Tournament All-Tournament Team her senior year... Won gold twice, at the 2022 USA Hockey Tier I National Championships with the Minnesota Elite Grey and at the 2023 IIHF Division I Group A Women's World Tournament with Team China.
Personal: Daughter of Yi Zhan and Qui Gao... Hopes to major in biomedical engineering while possibly adding a minor in international studies... Enjoys learning languages, for example French and Korean, baking, and solo hacky sack... Volunteered at Minnesota Unbounded, a foundation which helps girls of color get more opportunities in ice hockey... Is an only child.
