Ali Rogers joined the Dartmouth women's soccer coaching staff as the program's associate head coach in March 2023.
Rogers arrives in Hanover after spending the last five years on the women’s soccer coaching staff at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She started with the Eagles as the Director of Operations in August 2018 before being elevated to assistant coach/recruiting coordinator in June 2019. After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Rogers was promoted to associate head coach.
Assisting the head coach with preparation for training sessions, Rogers was also in charge of team defensive strategies while overseeing the daily training of the back line. Rogers was instrumental in the development and incorporation of a recruiting plan that demonstrated successful results for the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.
FGCU had a successful four-year spell with Rogers on the staff, including a trip to the NCAA tournament this past fall, its first since 2017, after winning the Atlantic Sun (ASUN) conference tournament in a penalty shootout against Liberty. In addition to the team success, Rogers coached numerous All-Conference student-athletes, All-Region student-athletes, and three All-Americans.
A decorated athlete and two-year captain for the Eagles, Rogers was a five-time ASUN Conference champion. As a senior, she scored both goals in FGCU’s ASUN Championship victory over Lipscomb, earning Championship MVP honors. Rogers was also named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Third Team All-Region that season after starting 17 of the 18 games she played in. In addition to All-Region honors, Rogers was named ASUN First Team All-Conference. During her redshirt junior season in 2015, she started and played all 90 minutes in the NCAA Tournament victory over USF, the program’s first-ever win in the NCAA Tournament.
After graduating from FGCU, Rogers played professionally overseas with KKPK Medyk Konin in Ekstraliga, the top division in Poland.
