Bio
2007-2008: Competed in the Ivy Championships swimming her career-best in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 0:58.18 and breaking Dartmouth records in the 50 yard freestyle, coming in ninth overall with a time of 0:23.52, and the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 0:50.79, which put her as a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Championship. Preston was also part of four relay teams that all set new Dartmouth records - the 400 yard freestyle relay, the 200 yard medley relay, the 800 yard freestyle relay, and the 200 yard freestyle relay.2006-2007: Placed 23rd in the 100 Back (1:00.44), 23rd in the 400 IM (4:44.67), and 22nd in the 200 Back (2:11.17) at the Ivy Championships.
2005-2006: Member of the 400 Medley relay team (3:52.85) that placed 5th at the Ivy Championships....Member of the Dartmouth All-Time Top Ten in the 100, 200 Back and the 400 Individual Medley.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Laurel Preston of Medina, Wash....Graduate of Bellevue High School Class of 2005 where she was Co-Captain of the 4-time 3A State Champion Swim Team, and a 3-Time All-American...Also swam for a club team, Chinook Aquatic Club, under coaches Scott Florsheim, Craig Weishaar, and Jack Ridley...Majoring in Art History and with a minor in Mathematics.
