Dee Smith is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Dartmouth women’s volleyball team in 2014.

Smith comes to Hanover after receiving a Master of Education with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Plymouth State University. She also received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in coaching from Plymouth State.

While an undergraduate at PSU she served as a student assistant coach for the volleyball team in 2009 and 2010. Her responsibilities with the team during those seasons included conducting and constructing daily team warm-up, assisting with team preparation and analysis of performance and contributing strategic suggestions in pre/post-game discussions.

During her tenure at PSU, Smith also worked for the athletic department event staff. As a member of the event staff she helped in maintaining scores and statistics for the volleyball team, filming various athletic events and selling tickets and providing assistance to event attendees.
