Pat O’Brien, Sophomore, Durham, N.H.
The sophomore and Granite State native won the season-opening meet at home last Saturday morning, taking first at the 2018 Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational, running a 24:44.66 on the 8K course. O’Brien was second at the same year as a freshman in 2017, but bested that finish with the individual victory in 2018. His time was nearly eight seconds faster than the second-place runner and helped Dartmouth to 16 team points and the win.
