Junior Grayson Saunier set career highs in pass completions (30), attempted (44) and yards (407) in Dartmouth’s 35-28 win over defending NEC Champion Central Connecticut State Saturday. The 407 yards marked the ninth most in all of Division I FCS this season. It's also the most in the Ivy League this season and most yards by an Ivy League quarterback in a regulation game since Cole Smith of Princeton in October of 2021. Saunier also became the first Big Green player with 400+ yards passing since Jack Heneghan had 440 vs. Brown on Nov. 12, 2016. Among Saunier's completions Saturday was a 71-yarder to Grayson O'Bara in the first quarter (one play later, the Big Green punched in their first touchdown). Another was a 50-yard strike to Ky'Dric Fisher to break a 28-28 tie and put the Big Green ahead 35-28 with 16 seconds remaining. Saunier also rushed for 21 yards and rushed in a 2-point conversion in the fourth.
