HANOVER, N.H. – The Big Green wrapped their weekend series and regular season home games at Ref Rolfe Field at Biondi Park, Sunday, taking on the Manhattan Jaspers. Dartmouth's pitching dominated, allowing just four wins to help the Big Green to the 1-0 victory over the Jaspers.

With the win, the Big Green improve to 15-22 overall and post a 9-6 record in home games. This is now the second straight year Dartmouth has had a winning record at home.

Each team sprinkled base runners across the first few innings, including the Big Green loading the bases in the second, but the game remained scoreless. The Jaspers then put a runner at third with only one out in the fourth, but
Nate Kugler got out of the jam on the mound.

Dartmouth was able to break through the scoreless tie in the fifth. With two outs,
Nico Bañez was hit by the pitch, coming around to score on a
Sam Andersen triple, his third of the weekend, as the Big Green took a 1-0 lead.

Manhattan immediately threatened to get on the board in the sixth, loading the bases with one out.
Mac Burke, who entered the game in the fifth in relief of Kugler, got himself out of trouble as the Big Green held onto their lead.

The Big Green continued to pressure over the later innings putting two runners on in the sixth and loading the bases in the seventh and eighth, but the Jaspers' pitching was able to stop the pressure, keeping it a one-run game.

Despite a leadoff walk in the ninth, the Jaspers were unable to muster up any more offense, as the Big Green held on to secure the series win with the 1-0 victory.

Kugler pitched the first four innings, allowing just one hit. He dealt four walks but fanned five in his scoreless outing.

Burke made his team-leading 18
th appearance of the year, allowing just three hits in five scoreless innings to earn the win. He fanned two and walked one.

While the home slate of games in the 2026 campaign has wrapped, the Big Green will officially conclude the regular season next weekend, playing one more Ivy League series. Dartmouth will take on Yale in New Haven for three games beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, May 9 and a single game on Sunday, May 10.
