GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Tuesday, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced its ABCA/Rawlings All-Region teams, naming senior reliever
Mac Burke to the Northeast All-Region Second Team.
Burke had a dominant season in his senior campaign, tossing 37 innings across 20 appearances out of the bullpen. He led all relievers with a 2.19 ERA and ranked third amongst relievers with 34 strikeouts.
He also finished the season with four saves, tied for second best in the Ancient Eight, and a 4-3 overall record.
Early in the season, Burke posted a streak of five straight games without allowing an earned run, combining for six total innings. In Ivy League play, he recorded the final out in a 10-inning victory over Columbia, Dartmouth's first win over the Lions since 2022.
The next day, Burke followed with four scoreless innings of relief against the Lions, adding four strikeouts.
Burke also threw two scoreless outings against Brown, allowing four hits across four innings with eight strikeouts. He fanned a career high five in his three-inning outing in the series opening win.
The senior also added scoreless outings at Harvard, vs. Manhattan and twice at Yale, finishing the season with 13 scoreless outings and 15 without allowing an earned run. Burke threw a season high five scoreless innings of relief against the Jaspers, allowing three hits and fanning one to help the Big Green to the 1-0 victory.
Burke was also named a First-Team All-Ivy League honoree at the conclusion of the 2026 season, the Big Green's first first-team selection since 2022.
