NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Dartmouth baseball wrapped its regular season Sunday, playing a doubleheader on the road against Yale.

The Bulldogs scored early in both games to earn 3-2 and 4-1 victories over the Big Green. With the two losses, Dartmouth falls to 15-25 and 7-14 on the season.

Game 1: Yale 3, Dartmouth 2
In game one of Sunday's doubleheader, the Big Green tied the game in the top of the third, but Yale immediately responded en route to a 3-2 victory over Dartmouth.

The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, capitalizing on three singles and a hit by pitch to take the early lead.

In the top half of the third, Dartmouth pulled even.
Austin Moran led off the inning with a single, later advancing to second to put a runner 90 feet away with two outs.
Sam Andersen reached on an infield single, putting runners on the corners, before both came home to score on an
A.J. DeMastrie double, tying the game at two runs apiece.

Yale responded in their half of the inning after a hit by pitch and double game the Bulldogs the lead just two batters into the third. The Bulldogs would record another hit in the inning, but it remained a one-run game headed into the fourth.

Dartmouth threatened to get back on the board in the fourth when
Milo Suarez singled to start the inning. He advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt and third on a
Taer Rodriguez single before Yale hit Moran at the plate to load the bases with one out. The Bulldogs were able to get out of the jam, keeping it a 3-2 game.

The Big Green had runners in each ensuing inning but the eighth, including two in the ninth thanks to two walks, but Yale held on to defeat Dartmouth in game one, 3-2.

Nate Kugler got the start for the Big Green, allowing three runs on seven hits in six complete innings. He also fanned four.

Mac Burke pitched the final two innings, putting up another scoreless outing and adding a strikeout.

Game 2: Yale 4, Dartmouth 1
The Bulldogs picked up right where they left off, scoring in the first inning to go on to defeat the Big Green, 4-1.

Yale scored early, drawing a leadoff walk and taking a 1-0 lead on an RBI single in the first inning. The Bulldogs doubled their lead in the fourth, knocking a solo homerun to make it a two-run game.

The Big Green cut Yale's lead in half in the sixth.
Alejandro Puig led off the inning with a single, advancing to second on a passed ball, third on a
Nico Bañez ground out, and coming home to score on a
Sam Andersen single.

The Bulldogs added insurance runs in the bottom half of the inning as Davis Hanson hit his second home run of the day, this one a two-run shot, to give Yale a 4-1 lead over the Big Green.

Dartmouth had one more chance in the ninth, as
Milo Suarez ripped a one out double and advanced to third on a ground out, but Yale got the final out to defeat the Big Green, 4-1.

Kyle Klaric-Schell started the regular season finale for the Big Green, making his first career start. He allowed four runs on seven hits in 5.2 innings. Klaric-Schell walked one and fanned five.
Nathan Matoush finished the game for the Big Green, pitching the final 2.1 innings. The first-year allowed only one hit and fanned two in his scoreless outing.

Dartmouth baseball wraps the 2026 season and first under Interim Head Coach
Blake McFadden with a 15-25 overall record and a 7-14 record against Ivy League opponents. The Big Green posted a winning 9-6 record at Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park and were undefeated in neutral site games.
