NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Dartmouth baseball began its final series of the 2026 campaign at Yale, Friday, playing a single game against the Bulldogs. Despite two home runs off the bat of
Milo Suarez, the Big Green fell to Yale 7-3.

With the loss, Dartmouth falls to 15-23 overall and 7-2 in Ivy League play.

Yale took its lead over Dartmouth early, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The Bulldogs ripped a leadoff double before the runner came home to score on a single to left.

The Big Green immediately responded to take a one-run lead in the second. Dartmouth also led off the inning with a double off the bat of
Tyler Sirchia. In a 3-1 count,
Milo Suarez sent the ball to left center and out of the park, driving in his team leading 18
th and 19
th RBI and giving Dartmouth a 2-1 lead.

Each team saw baserunners over the next few innings, but it was Yale that drove in its runner to tie the game in the fourth, again capitalizing on a leadoff double and RBI single.

The Big Green and Bulldogs traded a base runner each in the fifth, but the game remained tied at two headed into the sixth.

Once again, Suarez gave Dartmouth the lead, knocking his second home run of the day and his fourth of the season to regive the Big Green the lead, making it a 3-2 game.

Yale immediately responded in its half of the inning, plating four runs to take the lead. The Bulldogs knocked three hits and took advantage of a sacrifice fly, sacrifice bunt and two Dartmouth errors, making it a 6-3 game.

The Bulldogs added to their lead in the eighth scoring one run on a walk, sacrifice bunt and an RBI groundout, extending their lead to four.
Dartmouth had two two-out base runners in the ninth after
Jack Espiritu-Niswonger drew a pinch-hit walk and
Taer Rodriguez was hit at the plate. Despite the runners, Yale got out of the jam to secure the 7-3 victory over the Big Green.

Nate Isler had another impressive outing on the mound for the Big Green, despite taking the loss. The junior fanned 11 and gave up nine hits in six innings of work.

Mac Burke pitched the seventh, allowing one hit and fanning two of the three batters he faced.
Trey Sejnoha wrapped the game for the Big Green, allowing one run in his single inning of work.

Dartmouth will be back in action against Yale on Sunday, May 10 wrapping the three-game series and regular season with a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 11:30 a.m. and both games will be streamed on ESPN+ or you can follow the live stats on DartmouthSports.com.
