While women’s volleyball is playing for a spot in the Ivy tournament, sophomore Hikaru Takeda is competing on the national stage. Junior Ellie Blain led the Big Green volleyball team to a 3-0 win over the Harvard Crimson. Takeda made it to the final eight at the ITA Super regionals, also held at Harvard, for the men’s tennis team.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.

Ellie Blain registered a career-high .571 hitting percentage with 12 kills as Dartmouth defeated Harvard in three sets Friday evening at Leede Arena. It was the Big Green’s third straight win and second consecutive three-set triumph. Blain currently ranks fourth in the Ivy League in points per set.
