NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Sophomore Elizabeth Dupuy (Phoenix, Ariz.) and freshman Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio) both finished tied for 12th as the Dartmouth women's golf team was eighth at the Yale Invitational last weekend.
Dupuy fired rounds of 76-81--157, while Strickler matched that with 80-77--157 on the par 70 Yale Golf Course.
The Big Green combined for a 36-hole total of 655 in the 10-team field. Rollins College was first with 593, and host Yale was second at 614.
Junior co-captain Hayley Stevens (Orinda, Calif.) was tied for 22nd with 79-81--160.
Also competing for the Big Green were junior co-captain Anne Daher (Lafayette, Calif.), 82-84--166; sophomore Libby Wegener (Shorewood, Minn.), 86-87--173; junior Ann Kapusta (Meadville, Pa.), 96-84--180; and freshman Tory Sheppard (Fishers, Ind.), 85-95--180.
Dartmouth closes out the fall season on October 8-9, traveling to the William & Mary Invitational.
