PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth women's golf team finished sixth out of 12 teams at the Princeton Invitational, on Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Springdale Golf Club after a Nor'easter forced the cancellation of the final round.

The Big Green posted a two-round total of 608 strokes (+40), carding rounds of 303 (+19) and 305 (+21). Dartmouth finished nine strokes behind fifth-place Columbia who tallied 599 strokes (+31) and five strokes ahead of seventh-place St. John's who recorded 613 strokes (+45). Host Princeton claimed the team title at 570 (+2), 10 strokes clear of runner-up the University of Pennsylvania (580, +12.)

Caroline Chung paced Dartmouth with a seventh-place finish. Chung was the model of consistency, posting matching rounds of 72 (+1) to finish at 144 (+2), just one stroke out of sixth and four strokes behind co-medalists Emily James of Rutgers and Juliet Oh of Penn.

Sophia Li and Olivia Cong each tied for 27th with 155 strokes (+13). Li improved by a stroke in the second round, going 78 (+7) and 77 (+6), while Cong opened with a 76 (+5) before closing with a 79 (+8).

Angelina Tao tied for 36th at 156 strokes (+14) with rounds of 79 (+8) and 77 (+6), and Claire Wan tied for 38th at 157 (+15) after rounds of 77 (+6) and 80 (+9). Samantha Harris rounded out the Dartmouth lineup, tying for 49th at 160 (+18) with a pair of rounds of 80 strokes (+9).

Competing as an individual, Lauren Pham bounced back from an opening round of 82 (+11) to card a 74 (+3) in the second round, the Big Green's second-best score of the round behind Chung. Pham also tied for 36th at 156 (+14).
