PRINCETON, N.J.—The Ivy League announced its All-Ivy honors for women's golf on Wednesday afternoon. Dartmouth's Olivia Cong was named All-Ivy Second Team while Sophie Thai and Sophia Li were named All-Ivy Honorable Mentions. Thai also earned Academic All-Ivy honors.
Cong played in nine events this season for the Big Green with four top 10 finishes along with a win at the Space Coast Classic. At the Space Coast Classic she finished -6 after shooting a -6 66 in the second round and a -1 69 in the final round. The sophomore finished in the top 21 in all but one tournament this season. The Germantown, Md. native tallied three under par rounds in her second season at Dartmouth.
Thai earned All-Ivy for the third straight season after being All-Ivy as a junior and sophomore. She closed out her collegiate career by playing in nine events with four top 10 finishes. At the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in March, she won the tournament as she finished -2 over the three round tournament. Her lowest round came at the Space Coast Classic in which she carded a -7 65 in the second round. It is the second straight season that she has been named Academic All-Ivy.
Li broke onto the scene in her first season of collegiate golf; in her first collegiate event she won the Red Bandanna Invite as she finished +1. In eight starts this season, she did not finish worse than 21st as she had four top 10 finishes and seven top 20 finishes. She carded four rounds of par or better in her first season. The New York, N.Y. native recorded a -4 68 in her first collegiate round at the Red Bandanna Invite.
