HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's golf hosted its annual end of season banquet this week and handed out its yearly awards.
For the second straight season, Sophie Thai and Olivia Cong were named Co-MVPs. Cong earned All-Ivy Second Team honors for the second straight season while Thai was an All-Ivy honorable mention.
Thai closed out her storied Dartmouth career with a win at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate as she finished -2 over the three rounds. Five days later at the Prospect Bay Invitational she finished second at +5. She finishes her Dartmouth career with the most wins in program history, the most birdies in program history, while being second all-time in eagles. The Los Altos, Calif. native was a three time All-Ivy selection.
Cong had a strong second season with the Big Green as she played in nine tournaments with four top 10 finishes including a win at the Space Coast Classic as she finished -6. Her second round at the Space Coast Classic was vital to the team finishing -14 to set a new Ivy League record, Cong finished the second round -6. She also notched seven top 20 finishes. At the Kingsmill Intercollegiate she finished tied for second at +6.
After an outstanding first-year with Dartmouth, Sophia Li has been named the Wormser Rookie of the Year. Li was named an All-Ivy honorable mention after turning in four top 10 finishes and seven top 20 finishes in eight events. In her first collegiate event she won the Red Bandanna Invite as she finished +1. In her first collegiate round she carded a -4 68, it was the first of four rounds of par or better.
Senior Hope Hall was named Most Improved Player in 2025-26 as she competed in all nine events. Her best finish came at the Prospect Bay Invitational where she finished fourth at +9. At her final Ivy League Championship, she finished tied for 14th and was Dartmouth's top finisher. She turned in four top 15 finishes and did not finish lower that 32 in any tournament.
First-year Claire Wan was named the recipient of The Gibby Award, the coach's award given in honor of former coach Kevin Gibson to the student-athlete who best demonstrates the spirit of Dartmouth Women's Golf and the game. Wan competed in seven events this season and turned in a fourth place finish at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate as she finished +7.
The Big Green will be back on the course in the fall, the fall schedule will be announced in the coming months.
