Women's Golf Battles Tough Conditions in Second Round of Ivys

SPRINGFIELD, N.J.—Dartmouth women's golf completed the second round of the Ivy League Championship on Saturday in rainy conditions. The Big Green finished the day +26 and currently sit in fifth at +49 over two rounds.

Claire Wan moved up 10 positions on Saturday as she shot a +5 77 in round two. She birdied the second hole while notching 12 pars on the day. In the two rounds she is +11, her +5 on Saturday was the second-best score in the field in the second round.

Hope Hall shot a +7 79 on Saturday and moved into 16^th place. She tallied three birdies in the round with them coming on the fourth, sixth, and seventh. She finished the round with three pars on 16,17, and 18.

Olvia Cong moved up five spots on Saturday as she also finished +7. She opened the day with three pars before a birdies on the fourth hole. She ended the day with 10 pars as she now sits tied for 23^rd.

Alissa Xu also finished the second round with a +7 79 as she also moved up five places. She started the day with a birdie on the first and third before birding the 10^th hole. She had seven pars on the day.

Sophie Li sits in 18^th after two rounds as she finished with an 80 on Saturday. After the front nine she was +4 but had six pars. On the back nine she notched six pars including five straight from 11-15.

Sophia Thai shot an 84 on Saturday, she notched a par on the first and ninth before paring the first four holes of the back nine. She ended the round with a birdie on the par 5 18^th.

The Big Green start the third and final round on Sunday, April 26 at 10:30 AM.
