PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Dartmouth men's track and field team claimed five first-place finishes at Saturday's Penn Invitational.
Senior Musfafa Abdur-Rahim (Brookline, Mass.) won the 110 meter hurdles in 14.54, and also ran a leg of the winning 4 x 400 meter relay team that combined for a time of 3:17.57.
Also running the relay were sophomore Rick Cedrone (Stoughton, Mass.), freshman Charlie Stoebe (Westport, Conn.) and freshman Mike Carmody (Berkeley Heights, N.J.).
Senior Brian McCarthy (Malverne, N.Y.) won the high jump, clearing 6-9 3/4, and senior Mike Mozer (Kinnelon, N.J.) threw 170-5 in the hammer, winning by two inches.
Senior Noah Kaufman (Madison, Wis.) led a one-two finish in the 5,000 meters. Kaufman posted a time 14:45.25, followed by Dartmouth sophomore Ian Marcus (Amherst, Mass.) in 14:59.31.
On Saturday, April 16, Dartmouth is back in action at the University of New Hampshire Invitational.
