HANOVER, N.H. -- The Big Green's Libby Wegener (Shorewood, Minn.) fired a five-over par 77, leading the Dartmouth women's golf team on Saturday.

Hosting its own invitational, Dartmouth is in seventh place at 325 in the 17-school field. Columbia posted a 307 during the first day of action at Hanover Country Club.

Wegener is tied for seventh going into Sunday's final round. Also competing for the Big Green were freshman Tory Sheppard (Fishers, Ind.) with an 81; junior co-captain Hayley Stevens (Orinda, Calif.), 82; junior co-captain Annie Daher (Lafayette, Calif.), 85; and sophomore Elizabeth Dupuy (Phoenix, Ariz.), 88.

Christin Thomson of St. John's fired an even-par 72 for a two-stroke lead over Columbia's Sara Ovidia with 74.
