BOSTON, Mass. -- Dartmouth sophomore Mike Carmody (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) broke his own school record in the 800 meters during Saturday's competition at the Boston University Valentine's Invitational.
Carmody clocked 1:49.69, the fastest time this year among Ivy League competitors.
Junior Alec Wall (Portland, Ore.) was the winner in the 3,000 meters, again with the fastest Ivy time of the season, 8:08.96.
In the mile, sophomore Harry Norton (Exeter, N.H.) had Dartmouth's fourth fastest time ever in 4:04.69. He was fourth in the event.
Senior Ikechi Ogbonna (Bronx, N.Y.) had his quickest time of the season in the 55 meter hurdle trials with 7.40. He finished fifth in the finals with 7.53.
