Dartmouth's Stevens Has Top Finish at Anteater Invitational

IRVINE, Calif. -- Dartmouth junior Hayley Stevens (Orinda, Calif.) had the best finish for the Big Green women's golf team that wrapped up competition at the Anteater Invitational.
Playing at Santa Ana Country Club, Stevens posted scores of 85-83-86--254, good for 26th place.
The Big Green posted a 54-hole score of 1044 and was eighth in the eight-team field. Brigham Young won with 942, five shots ahead of UC-Irvine.
Also competing for Dartmouth were freshman Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio), 86-89-90--265; sophomore Elizabeth Dupuy (Phoenix, Ariz.), 95-87-86--268; freshman Tory Sheppard (Fishers, Ind.), 99-81-90--270; and junior Ann Kapusta (Meadville, Pa.), 87-100-89--276.
The event was hosted by UC-Irvine on March 20-21.
Dartmouth next competes at the William & Mary Invitational on March 25-26.
