Dartmouth Freshman Leads Women's Golf
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Freshman Sunny Zhang (San Ramon, Calif.) was the low finisher for the Dartmouth women's golf team as competition wrapped up Sunday, September 24 at the Princeton Invitational.
Zhang fired rounds of 78-85--163 to finish in a tie for 21st.
As a team, Dartmouth was ninth in the 13-school field with 679. Princeton claimed the top spot with 594, 18 shots ahead of runner-up Harvard.
For the Big Green, sophomore Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio) was tied for 33rd with 85-83--168, and senior Hayley Stevens (Orinda, Calif.) was tied for 37th with 82-88--170.
Dartmouth's next tournament is September 30-October 1 at the Yale Invitational.
