All-America Honors
Despite the northern climate, Dartmouth has had numerous golfers enjoy All-America recognition throughout the years. The first Big Green golfer to earn the honor was A. Pollack Boyd '22, who also won the NCAA Championship individual title in 1922 at Garden City, N.Y. The event that year was contested at match play.
Dartmouth's most recent honoree was Susan Johnson Bower '85, who was tabbed honorable mention after an outstanding senior year in 1985. Now the women's golf coach at Tulane University, Bower is a veteran of U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur competitions.

Rolex Achievement Award
In 1997, the inaugural Rolex Achievement Awards were presented under the auspices of the College Golf Foundation. Dr. Leslee Subak '83 shared the stage that year with Arnold Palmer and Captain David Leestma, Navy '71. Along with Leestma, Subak was presented the Rolex Award as a "collegiate golfer who upon graduation has achieved outstanding success in his/her chosen field, outside of golf, and in doing so, has made a special contribution to society."
Subak helped found the Dartmouth women's golf program in the 1980's and went on to earn an M.D. from the Stanford University School of Medicine. She finished her residency at the University of California in San Francisco, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She has conducted numerous research projects and authored several original publications. Subak was captain of the 1983 Dartmouth women's golf team.
