Dartmouth Golf Teams Ranked High by Golf Digest
HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's and women's golf teams both were ranked highly in Golf Digest's third annual College Golf Guide.
In the category of "Academics First," the Big Green women's team checked in at 22nd out of 100 schools, while the men were 34th of 146. Golf Digest targets Academics First "for those who want to continue playing golf while focusing on academics."
Golf Digest also put together lists of schools in the category of "Balanced," for students who place "equal emphasis on school and sports."
The Dartmouth women's program was 48th among 300 schools, while the men were 95th among 400. The College Golf Guide has been designed to help high school students fine the right college or university for their needs.
