NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Dartmouth junior
Lauren Strickler (Akron, Ohio) was the Big Green's top finisher at the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate golf tournament that concluded Sunday.
Strickler posted a five-over par 76 on Saturday and followed it up with an 84. Her two-day total of 160 was tied for 18th.
As a team, Dartmouth was 10th with a score of 662 in the 15 school field. The host Yale squad won with 619, eight shots ahead of runner-up Harvard.
Also scoring for the Big Green were junior
Tory Sheppard (Fishers, Ind.), 83-82-165; senior captain
Elizabeth Dupuy (Phoenix, Ariz.), 84-84-168; sophomore
Sunny Zhang (San Ramon, Calif.), 85-84-169; and freshman Katie Gulemi (Fairfield, Conn.), 89-85-175.
The women's golf fall season concludes October 6-7 with the ECAC Championship at William & Mary.
