Cottrell Named FCS 2007 All-American

Hanover, N.H. -Senior captain Justin Cottrell (Somers Point, N.J.) was recently named to the FCS 2007 Sports Network All-American squad as an honorable mention. This comes a month after being named to the FCS All-New England Team, as selected by the New England Football Writers.
Being recognized as one of the best linebackers in the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly 1-AA), not only in New England, but the nation, is a testament to Cottrell's success as a player during his 4-year career here playing for Dartmouth College.
Cottrell led the Ivy League this year with 108 tackles. His 10.8 average placed him 10th nationally and he led Ivy League linebackers with three interceptions. Cottrell finished his career 13th on the Dartmouth all-time list for career tackles with 243.
