Senior Carli Clemis (Taber, Alta.) finished the evening with 30 saves, including 15 in the second period to keep the Big Green within striking distance. Clemis also did it on the offensive end with her first collegiate assist coming on the Parsons goal.
For Clarkson (4-5-3, 2-1-1 ECAC Hockey), Melissa Waldie led the charge with a goal and assist, while Brittany Mulligan added the second goal for the Golden Knights in the first period. Goaltender Lauren Dahm was not challenged by the Big Green early on in the game as she only had to make seven saves, but in the third she preserved the tie for Clarkson with 16 stops in the last 25 minutes, including overtime.

the scoreboard first late in the opening stanza, when junior Britney Selina
attempted a wrap-around shot from behind the net. Selina's shot didn't get past
Clemis, but the rebound found the stick of senior Courtney O'Connor,
who sent a pass across the crease to Waldie for the opening goal of the
game, her second in as many nights, at 13:08.
Clarkson scored another goal in the first period late in the frame. With just
1:31 remaining, Mulligan picked up her first collegiate goal when she deflected
the puck past Clemis to give the Knights a 2-0 lead. Assists went to Waldie and
