Men's Track and Field Ends First Day of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. ? Dartmouth men's track and field competed in the first day of the three-day Penn Relays yesterday. Although the majority of collegiate events take place today and tomorrow, yesterday saw some strong performances by the Big Green.
The highlight of the day for the men was Glenn Randall's (Collbran, Colo.) 5th-place finish in the 10,000-meter championship. Competing in a field of 32, Randall's time of 30:00.40 was the second fastest time by an Ivy League runner this year.
Competition at the Relays will continue throughout the day.
