BOSTON – The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams had another successful weekend in the Boston area, closing out the Riverhawk Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell, with multiple top placements.
Mariella Schweitzer placed first in the long jump with her 5.94m mark, also finishing third in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.51. Andie Murray and Lindsey Kerrins placed second and fourth in the 500m, respectively. Murray put herself at eighth all-time in the event with a time of 1:14.16.
Katherine Strong finished second in the mile with her 4:56.91 mark, while Emmy Thornton finished fourth in the 800m with a 2:14.53 mark. Esme Daplyn had a third place finish in the 1000m with a final time of 2:50.86. On the throws side, Autumn Clark finished third in the shot put with a 13.22m mark.
Roy Leibovitz, who earned Ivy League Athlete of the Week in January, placed first in the triple jump with his 15.24m mark. Colton McMaster finished third in the shot put with a 17.32m mark, while Sam Starrs placed first in the pole vault after clearing 4.70m.
The Big Green will continue competing in the Boston area this weekend, with some athletes competing in the Crimson Open, while others participate in the Valentine Invitational.
