Hanover, N.H. ? There is no place like home for senior
Brian Evans. Two weeks ago the Big Green hosted a five-way meet with Evans bringing home the gold in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. On a cool, overcast Sunday afternoon, the two-sport athlete (he also plays football for the Big Green) again came in first in the 100 and 200 meter races, running the 100 in a time of 11.08, ahead of former Big Green athlete Wayne Burwell's 11.14 and finishing the 200 in 22.39.
Junior
Alex Lippai (West Mifflin, Pa.) continues to throw well for Dartmouth, winning the Hammer throw with a toss of 176.03.
The Big Green took the top spot in fifteen of the eighteen events contested.
This meet was a final tune-up for Dartmouth before heading to Yale to compete in the Heptagonal Championship May 10-11.
