2008 Outdoor Heps Schedule Announced

The schedule for the 2008 Outdoor Heps Championship has been released and is available at the Ivy League's track and field blog. (Click Here) This season's outdoor championships will be contested at Cuyler Field and Dwyer Track on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, Conn., on May 10-11.
The Cornell Big Red will defend its titles from 2007, but the competition will certainly be heated. In fact, the Big Red women's team had its streak of Indoor titles snapped at six in March as Princeton and Brown each finished ahead of Cornell. But two-sport star Jeomi Maduka will look to lead Cornell back to a championship after earning Athlete of the Meet and Ivy Women's Basketball Player of the Year status in back-to-back weeks.
Maduka was one of four individual Ivy All-Americans from the indoor season, joining Cornell senior Muhammad Halim, Penn senior Jesse Carlin and Harvard junior Becky Christensen.
