Dartmouth Men's Tennis Takes Three Flights at Own Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - Another successful day on the courts for the Dartmouth men's tennis team as the Big Green took three of the seven flights on the final day of the Dartmouth Invitational.

Senior Dan Freeman (Chatsworth, Calif.) and junior Curtis Roby (New York, N.Y.) played each other in the finals of the Flight A. They split sets with the match tie breaker going to Freeman, 10-8, to earn the flight victory.

Fellow senior Jeff Friedman (Westport, Conn.) dominated his opponent from Middlebury 6-2,6-3 to win Flight C, while freshman Mike Jacobs (Oak Park, Ill.) came from behind to best Geronimo Reifkohl of Middlebury 4-6, 6-1, (10-5), to take home the Flight F title this afternoon.

The next event for the men's team will be the ITA Regional Championship which will be played at Dartmouth beginning on October 15th at the Boss Tennis Center.
