Going for 1,200
• With the 68-56 victory over Hartford, Dartmouth gets its first opportunity to win the 1,200th game in the program's history tonight.
• The Big Green had lost the last eight games against the Hawks before the win on Saturday, their first in nearly 20 years.
• Three players recorded career highs in the victory — senior Robby Pride with 19 points, sophomore David Rufful with 15 and junior Clive Weeden with 12.
• A different player has led the Big Green in scoring in each of the first five contests, so the question for this game is, Who's got next?
• Freshman Matt LaBove made his second straight start, and although he played just 12 minutes, he still managed to contribute seven rebounds.
Series vs. Vermont
• This is the 95th game between the two schools, with Dartmouth sporting a 58-36 record.
• Vermont has had most of the success over the past decade, going 9-1 in the series since the calendar changed to 2000.
• The lone Big Green win in the last 10 years came here in Leede Arena two years ago, 76-75.
• The first intercollegiate game in Dartmouth history was a 46-10 triumph against the Catamounts back on Dec. 15, 1900. The Green won the first 13 meetings and 29 of the first 31.
• The first game in Leede Arena was also against Vermont, an 86-76 Dartmouth victory on Nov. 28, 1987.
Scouting the Catamounts
• Vermont just ended a three-game skid by cruising to an 82-49 victory over winless Toledo on Sunday.
• Don't be surprised if the Catamounts seem a bit road weary — they open the season with 10 straight games away from home, and this is their fourth game in five days.
• In the victory over winless Toledo, Vermont got 21 points from guard Maurice Joseph and 15 more from two-time America East Player of the Year Marqus Blakely.
• Blakely is averaging a shade under 20 points and nine rebounds a game for the Catamounts, and has been their leading scorer in five of their seven contests this year while shooting 54.1 percent.
• Joseph has been Vermont's only reliable three-point threat so far, hitting 16-of-41 (.390). The rest of the squad has combined to shoot 13-of-70 (.186) from downtown.
• Three of the four players that have started every game are shooting at least 80 percent from the line, including Joseph at 96 percent (24-of-25). Blakely, however, is just a 65.2 percent foul shooter (45-of-69).
Pride of the Big Green
Senior Robby Pride led Dartmouth to its first victory of the season by scoring a career-high 19 points against Hartford on Nov. 28. He had 12 of the Big Green's first 19 points and finished the night shooting 6-of-9 overall with a trio of treys, another personal best.
Fouls and Free Throws
Dartmouth was whistled for just eight fouls against Hartford, its fewest in over 30 years. The Hawks, meanwhile, committed 23 fouls, many coming in the final minutes of the game, but the Big Green foiled the strategy, scoring their final 13 points of the game from the line and hitting each of their last eight foul shots. Dartmouth hit 20 free throws in the game, just the third time in Coach Dunn's tenure they have made at least that many.
New Scoring Leader Every Game
In each of the first five games, a different Big Green player has led the team in scoring. First, Jabari Trotter had 10 points in the season opener, followed by 13 from David Rufful at Boston College. After Ronnie Dixon led the way with 14 at Furman, Josh Riddle scored 11 in the home opener and Robby Pride put up 19 in the win over Hartford.
