HANOVER, N.H. — Head Coach Brett MacConnell announced the Dartmouth men's basketball team's 2026-27 schedule Tuesday, a 28-game slate that includes 14 games at Leede Arena and road trips to North Carolina, Philadelphia and throughout the Northeast.
The non-conference portion of the schedule features a mix of regional opponents and challenging road tests located further from home, while the 14-game Ivy League schedule begins Monday, Jan. 4, against Harvard and closes Saturday, Mar. 6, at Cornell.
"We're really excited about the schedule we've put together and the different experiences it will provide our guys," said MacConnell. "It was important to us to continue to play local New England opponents and build those regional rivalries that are a big part of college basketball in this area. Our trip to Davidson and Appalachian State will also be a special one, particularly for Patrick Tivnan Jr., who will have the opportunity to play close to home during his senior season. It's a great chance for our team to compete in a different part of the country and spend some time together on the road. We're also excited to make a non-conference trip to Philadelphia, especially with the city hosting Ivy Madness this season. Any opportunity we have to compete in Philadelphia and get comfortable playing there is something we value."
The Big Green tip off the season on the road with a Monday, Nov. 2, matchup at Marist, then return to Hanover for its home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 4, against Framingham State. Dartmouth hosts Central Connecticut State, who earned the No. 2 seed in the Northeast Conference tournament last season, on Sunday, Nov. 8, before traveling to Albany on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and Boston University, who advanced to the Patriot League Tournament championship game in 2026, on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Home dates continue with Maine Augusta on Tuesday, Nov. 17, and a non-conference contests against Patriot League opponent Holy Cross on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The Big Green then hit the road for a Sunday, Nov. 29, game at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina, before a Wednesday, Dec. 2, contest at Davidson, a team that earned at at-large bid to the 2026 National Invitational Tournament.
December brings Dartmouth back to Leede Arena for Maine Maritime (Sunday, Dec. 6) before road games at New Hampshire (Saturday, Dec. 12) and Temple (Wednesday Dec. 16). The non-conference schedule wraps up with back-to-back home games against Sacred Heart on Sunday, Dec. 20, and Stonehill on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Dartmouth opens Ivy League play at home against Harvard on Monday, Jan. 4, followed by a Saturday, Jan. 9, home date with Cornell. The Big Green then head out for a three-game road swing at Princeton (Saturday, Jan. 16), the University of Pennsylvania (Monday, Jan. 18) and Columbia (Saturday, Jan. 23) before returning home to host Brown (Friday, Jan. 29) and Yale (Saturday, Jan. 30) on back-to-back nights.
February features a rematch road trip to Harvard (Saturday, Feb. 6), Brown (Friday, Feb. 12) and Yale (Saturday, Feb. 13), before Dartmouth closes out its home slate with Columbia (Saturday, Feb. 20), Princeton (Friday, Feb. 26) and Penn (Saturday, Feb. 27) at Leede Arena. The regular season concludes on Saturday, Mar. 6 at Cornell.
