Men's Tennis
vs Dartmouth Invite #1

4/16/2010 9:00:00 PM | Men's Tennis
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Dartmouth men's tennis team dropped a tough doubles point and only got two wins in singles action as the Big Green fell, 5-2, on Friday night.
Dropping a close doubles point was not the way to start against the Bulldogs, who moved to 3-1 in Ivy play. Juniors Curtis Roby (New York, N.Y.) and Stephen Greif (San Antonio, Texas) won their match by a close 8-7 margin.
In singles, the three freshmen Yale players were just too much as the Bulldogs edged the Big Green in the top-four singles spots. The depth of Dartmouth was up for the challenge late in the match as both Roby and Xander Centenari (Towson, Md.) won their matches in straight sets.
Dartmouth will be back in action this Sunday as the Big Green hosts Brown in the final home match of the season, beginning at noon.
