Men's Tennis
vs Dartmouth Invite #1

2/18/2011 9:23:00 PM | Men's Tennis
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team lost a hard fought match to St Johns on Friday in the first round of the ECAC Championships at Harvard. The team came out strong in doubles winning at all three spots. Unfortunately, it was unable to keep the momentum in singles and ended up losing 5-2.
Every player in the lineup fought hard and had chances but St
Johns was too good on the day. The lone winner in singles for Dartmouth was senior Stephen Greif (San Antonio, Texas) at fifth singles. The Big Green take on Boston College on Saturday in a consolation match at 4 p.m. Dartmouth beat
BC in Hanover a couple of weeks ago, so the teams know each other well. Due to the four main draw matches that need
to be played Saturday the consolation match is at the alternate site in
Manchester, Mass.
