LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The 74th-ranked Dartmouth men's tennis team lost a close match on Wednesday against Loyola Marymount, 4-3. The loss dropped the Big Green to 8-4 on the season.
Despite winning the doubles point in its last nine matches, Dartmouth dropped two out of the three doubles to lose the point. It proved to be the difference in the match with each team winning three singles points. Senior Curtis Roby (New York, N.Y.), freshman Brandon DeBot (Stevens Point, Wis.) and junior Chris Ho (Los Altos, Calif.) earned victories in singles.
The
team is back in action on Thursday against Utah at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club at 11:30 a.m. Pacific time.
