LA JOLLA, CALIF. — The 74th-ranked Dartmouth men's tennis team finished its Spring Break trip on a high note Thursday with an impressive 5-2 win over Utah. Despite getting into La Jolla late Wednesday night, the Big Green were determined to come out with more energy in doubles than in their previous match against LMU. With wins at #2 and #3 doubles, Dartmouth took the point and gained the early edge in the match.
The team kept the momentum and extended its lead
by earning singles wins in four of six matches for a 5-2 team victory. With
the win, Dartmouth will enter Ivy League play with a 9-4 record.
Dartmouth returns to action
a week from Friday, April 1, at home against the reigning Ivy League champion
Columbia. The match is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start.
