PHILADELPHIA, PA. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team evened its Ivy League record at 2-2 with a 4-3 win over 63rd-ranked Penn on Sunday in Philadelphia. The Big Green improved to 11-6 overall.
Dartmouth saved match points at
both first and second doubles to win the doubles point.
In singles, The Big Green earned wins at second, fifth and sixth singles to secure the victory. Once the match was decided, the Quakers claimed wins at first, third and fourth singles.
Dartmouth is in a tie with Harvard for third in the
league. The victory was also Dartmouth's third win of the year over a
nationally ranked opponent. Penn is the highest ranked team that the Big Green has defeated this year.
The team is back in action at Brown on Friday, April 15th, at 2 p.m.
