Women's Track Sends Small Squad to Sam Howell Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team sent a small squad of athletes to the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton on Saturday.
In the 5000 meters, freshman Caitie Meyer (Weston, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 17:04. Freshman Corinne Kominkiewicz (East Brunswick, N.J.) won the discus at 142-6 feet. Senior Tina Alexander (Austin, Texas) placed in three throwing events. She was second in the discus at 134-8, second in the shot put at 44-1.25 and fifth in the hammer, 160-7. Senior Jaclyn Wypler (Ridgewood, N.J.) took third in the javelin at 127-11.
The Big Green next compete at the UNH Invitational on Saturday, April 9.
