October 2012 - CHAD 1/2 MARATHON WRAP UP

This weekend was the big CHaD event and saying it was a success is an
understatement! It was amazing! We had the Football team, Men's and
Women's Soccer, Baseball, and Alpine and Nordic Ski Teams. It was
tons of fun as we got the chance to meet some of the incredible young
children that were competing in the Cam's 1 mile course. We
introduced ourselves, signed posters for them, and lined up to give
them all high fives and loud cheers as the race began. It was really
something to see the Big Green community be apart of something that
really got to the hearts and spirits of the families and children that
were supporting CHaD. I hope that this can be a tradition that
remains amongst the athletes in the years to come because it truly is
a great cause and everyone who participated never stopped smiling
because it was so much fun!
