IC4As Conclude Sunday Afternoon in Boston For Big Green

BOSTON - The Dartmouth men's indoor track & field team wrapped up a weekend in Boston with several events at the final day of the 2012 IC4A Championships at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center.
In the finals of the 1,000 meters, freshman Luke Decker (Mission Viejo, Calif.) took home fifth place as he crossed in 2:27.38. That finish earned Dartmouth four team points.
Senior Ethan Shaw (Falmouth, Maine) was eighth in the 5,000 Sunday afternoon. Shaw crossed the line in 14:16.51 to secure one point for the Big Green.
In the shot put, sophomore Dom Filiano (Lebanon, N.H.) was 13th with a throw of 53-1.50/16.19m.
The Big Green finished the weekend with five points total thanks to Decker and Shaw.
Dartmouth will now turn its attention to the outdoor season, which begins in
two weeks.
