HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's tennis team won its second straight home match, topping Binghamton, 7-1, at the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion on Friday afternoon.
The Big Green bounced back from a defeat at Indiana their last time out, improving to 2-3 on the young season.
Dartmouth got off to a quick start winning all three doubles matches. Brandon DeBot and Xander Centenari won, 8-5, at the No. 1 spot, while Cameron Ghorbani and Brendan Tannenbaum scored an 8-6 victory at the No. 2 spot.
Sam Todd and Alex de Chatellus cruised to an 8-3 triumph at the No. 3 spot.
Centanari, Chris Kipouras, Erik Nordahl and Debot all won their singles matches in straight sets.
After dropping the first set, Justin Chan rallied to take the next two sets to notch a point for the Big Green.
Dartmouth returns to the court on Feb. 10 as they take on Boston College at the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion.
