BOSTON – The Dartmouth men's indoor track & field team began the weekend at the Joe Donahue Games hosted by Northeastern Friday night at the Reggie Lewis Center.
Alex Frye won the high jump, clearing a height of 6-7.0/2.03m to take the top spot in the event. Jeremy Birck was near the top of the leaderboard with a 6-6.0/1.98 to his credit.
John Abraham ran a 7.12 in the 60m, good for fourth place overall. Directly behind was teammate Victor Williams in 7.13 and fifth.
Jalil Bishop claimed fifth in the 200m with a strong time of 22.66.
Freshman Nico Robinson was fifth in the long jump as well with a measured distance of 21-10.25/6.66m. Classmate Jonathan Beering was fifth the shot put with a toss of 47-7.0/14.50m.
The men's team distance runners will continue the weekend Saturday afternoon at the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University.
