PISCATAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Dartmouth women's golf team finished tied for 13th on the final day of competition at the Rutgers Invitational on Sunday at the par-71, 6,341-yard Rutgers University Golf Course.
Saturday's round was played in wet and chilly conditions with temperatures in the 50s throughout the day. Play was suspended for an hour in the morning due to rain.
Dartmouth dropped from sixth to 13th place during the course of the day and shot a 651 (321-330). Long Island jumped over host Rutgers for the invitational win. The Blackbirds shot a 608, while the Scarlet Knights carded a 609.
For the Big Green sophomores Jamie Susanin (82-79) and Tara Simmons (78-83) finished tied for 32nd, respectively and scored a 161. Senior Jane Lee finished tied for 37th scoring a 162 (80-82). Freshman Radi Sauro and Isabelle Kane rounded out the Big Green five shooting a 169 each.
Junior Lily Morrison played as an individual and finished tied for 56th shooting a 167.
LIU's Cristina Felip and St. John's Anna Kim finished as the top performers at the event and carded a 144, respectively.
Dartmouth will end the fall season at the Princeton Invitational next weekend.
