Women's Golf Sits Ninth Entering Final Fall Round at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth women's golf team finished the first day of competition at the Princeton Invitational in ninth place with scores of 318-318—636.

Senior Jane Lee and sophomore Jamie Susanin enter the final round of play 13 over par 157 and finished as the top performers from Dartmouth. The duo is tied for 33rd out of 69 other golfers competing in the weekend event.

Freshman Radi Sauro is tied for 50th after shooting a 161. Classmate Isabelle Kane shot one stroke below Sauro and is tied for 53rd. Rounding out the Big Green performers is sophomore Tara Simmons who is in 61st with 165.

The invitational is being held at the Springdale Golf Course, a par 72, 6128-yard course. Sandy Wongwaiwate of Yale is the leading medalist shooting three-under 141. Columbia is the top team scorer and carded a 591.

The final round will commence on Sunday morning.
