Bleday Sets PR in High-Level 5000m Race at Mt. Sac Relays

WALNUT, Calif. – The lone member of the Dartmouth men's track & field team to compete at this year's Mt. Sac Relays at Hilmer Stadium, John Bleday did not disappoint as he ran a personal best in the 5000m Friday night.
Bleday posted a 14:04.71 to take 16th overall in the Olympic Development Elite section of the event. That time was a new personal best at the distance and came against some of the nation's top collegiate runners as well as professionals from clubs all over the country.
The rest of the men's team will compete today in New Haven at the Yale Invitational.
