PRINCETON, N.J. - The Dartmouth women's track & field team wrapped up its weekend at Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational Saturday afternoon inside Weaver Stadium.
Megan Krumpoch was the top individual performer on the day, winning the 400m hurdles in 59.99; the only individual of more than 30 competing in the event to break the one-minute mark.
The 4x100m relay team of Kaitlin Whitehorn, Sara Kikut, Anna Kikut and Jennifer Meech took the top spot in a field of 12 teams with a program-record 46.72. That time was just four-hundredths of a second ahead of Columbia in second place, edging out the Lions by a slim margin for the win.
Meech also posted a 56.47 in the 400m to take fifth place. Additionally, the Kikuts ran in the 100m with Sara claiming 8th (12.39) and Anna crossing in 17th (12.61).
Whitehorn was second in the 200m in a school-record 24.29, while also taking seventh in the long jump with a measured distance of 17-6.75/5.35m to her credit.
The Big Green also saw the 4x400-m relay team of Janae Dunchack, Katy Sprout, Meech and Krumpoch post a 3:48.72 to take the victory in the event.
Lauren Ready was sixth in the 100m hurdles in 14.88 (+1.3), while Elizabeth Markowitz claimed ninth in the 800m in 2:13.72.
Kaitlin McCallum was fourth overall in the pole vault as she cleared 11-3.75/3.45m. The shot put saw Emmaline Berg take sixth as her best throw was measured at 43-9.75/13.35m.
